Suicide Bereavement @ Hospice Maui
Oct 5 @ 3:00 pm – 4:30 pm

Losing a loved one to suicide is one of life’s most painful experiences. The feelings of loss, sadness, and loneliness experienced after any death are often magnified in suicide survivors by feelings of guilt, confusion, rejection, shame, anger, and the effects of stigma and trauma.

Many people bereaved by suicide feel alone and isolated, and the silence that surrounds suicide can complicate the experience. Social stigma and the pain of loss often prevents people from expressing their loss. Caring for and supporting someone who has lost a loved one to suicide can be difficult.
